The region’s newest rooftop bar and lounge has premiered at Armature Works in Tampa Heights. It’s called M.Bird, and here’s what you can expect from the 21-and-up hangout: playfully named craft cocktails with a tropical touch, Caribbean-inspired small plates emphasizing seasonality and plenty of room to admire the downtown skyline — and sunset. 1903 Market St., Tampa. This New American restaurant that started in downtown St. Petersburg opened the doors of its second outpost last week after relocating it from Brandon to South Tampa. Casa Santo Stefano
Ybor City’s in-the-works Sicilian restaurant, planned for the historic Ferlita Macaroni building, recently took to Facebook with a long-awaited announcement: Construction is underway. According to the March 29 update posted to Casa Santo Stefano’s page, “Columbia Restaurant Group President Richard Gonzmart earlier this week said, ‘If there are no delays, the building’s construction should be complete by the week of Dec. 12. Bay Cannon Beer Company
A brewpub coming to West Tampa that promises to reflect the history and diversity of the neighborhood while offering beer, soda and food.
